PTA
Who we are
Here at the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) we have so many committed and passionate parents who work closely with the school and the teachers. We all have the same value and drive to give the children the best fun extracurricular activities possible.
When we meet
We have an AGM (Annual General Meeting) at the start of each academic year to welcome new members (although of course you’re welcome to join at any time) and appoint core members. We also meet regularly for general meetings once or twice a term to discuss our fundraising events. Sometimes we meet more often to prepare for our big events.
What we do
We have two big main events we run in the year being the Summer fair and Christmas fair as well as smaller events from film/disco nights to selling seasonal goodie bags. We also try to fundraise for external wider appeals that specifically affect those in our school community. We are a registered charity which has helped contribute to extracurricular activities the children enjoy to enhance their learning and understanding of the world around them. We have invested in play equipment, a reading room, pantomimes in school and a trip to send every child to the theatre. The fun we have along the way is such a rewarding feeling and we see this on the children's faces in every event, being able to bring them joy in their primary school journey makes us who we are.
